At Sister Love's - Norman T. Ray
9 septembre 2013

Terence Hill and Bud Spencer among the most aired on French tv!

I don't know about you, but I grew up with those two. Every summer we went to Normandy on vacations, and there was a small movie theater who featured mostly "old movies". It's here that I saw for the first time Star Wars and Superman 2, and many Terence Hill and Bud Spencer movies. Full of innocent and huge brawls, of humor never on the vulgar side, those movies were and still are awesome entertainements for me.

In June of 2013 was released the list of the most aired movies on French television since 1957, among the first hundred, almost all are French movies except for:

7. My Name is Nobody with Terence Hill
12. Crime Busters with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer (it's also the #1 most aired movie from 2002 to 2011!)
18. A Genius, Two Partners and a Dupe with Terence Hill
55. Miami Supercops with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer
84. All the Way Boys with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer
88. They Call me Trinity with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer
92. Go For It with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer

The first "foreign movie" other than a Hill/Spencer is
61. The Good the Bad and the Ugly

And the first American movie is
94. Rio Bravo

Not bad for a bunch of comedians!
