John Carter: the best videos on Youtube

First thing first, the trailers made by the awesome Michael D. Sellers, great admirer of Edgar Rice Burroughs and independent Hollywood filmmaker. Conscious of the abysmal weakness of the marketing campaign, he took upon himself to recut the official...

Gods & Avatars / Aacadia VR first draft finished!

Yesterday I wrote the word "FIN" (THE END) in the first draft of my "novelita" (longer than a novella, shorter than a novel?). It contains about 54,000 words, a little longer than "Qui est donc Sister Love ?". Now I will begin the terrible correcting...

First review. And it's positive!

Translated by me from French: “It’s been a long time since I was looking for a novel of this kind, and finally here it is. What more can I say? Even if this novel feels too short (and yes I would have liked more of it), it offers an offbeat spirit full...

First update planned for "Mais qui est donc Sister Love ?"

At this stage I have read my text dozens of time, and what am I said first? Two spelling mistakes … in the prologue which must be ten lines long ! I also located quotation marks to be modified , and a repetition to be removed in the text … I really should...

Definitive results of the free promotion!

First observation, the free promotion started with several hours of delay but was stopped just at the right time, therefore that wasn’t 4 full days of promotion. That perhaps wouldn’t have changed anything, but it’s an observation. I imagine that this...

The mysteries of inspiration!

I'm currently writing a second novel, which will probably be as short as the first one, but hey, intention is what matters, isn't it? After a great period of time, I was blocked on it for a few weeks long, without exaggerating. I was unable to write another...

Star Trek Continues!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3G-ziTBAkbQ One of my passions is Star Trek, original series (1966-1969) and Next Generation (1987-1993). Many fanfictions came out during the recent years thanks to increasingly accessible technical progress. Here is one...

What are roleplaying games anyway?

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” Gary Gygax Thus spoke one of the fathers of roleplaying games. What are roleplaying games by the way? You will find on the net thousands of definitions, from the...

The French version of "At Sister Love's" has welcomed its hundredth visitor today! Time to look at the statistics of the English version: 58 visitors since July 2013. Since my blog is mostly a "throw-it-all" one without a fixed theme, it has no regular...

First payment from Amazon.fr!

I received a bank transfer of 11,41€ (some 16$) related to the first sales of the French version of my novel on Amazon.fr! Granted, it's not that much at all, but it's nonetheless something for an amateur author like me. Still no sale on Lulu and Kobo....

Barsoom novels in a FNAC store in Paris!
