11,889 signatures for John Carter 2!

Slowly but steadily the petition for John Carter 2 gets close to 12,000 signers. The progression isn't super-fast, but it's at least progressing. The comments of Amazon.fr clients, a representative ranking because 1) constantly evolving and 2) written by objective people, are for the most part good. The rank of the movie is 4.2 out of 5, with 168 comments, among them 133 above average (93 5-stars comments, 40 4-stars).

No offical news, and there probably won't be before March of 2015, almost a year from now. It's at that moment that the John Carter rights will be, either renewed by Disney, or go back to Edgar Rice Burroughs Incorporated, to be available for other studios. Of course, Disney could renew the rights simply to prevent other studios to use it... Andrew Stanton doesn't make any comment.
