A John Carter toy? Well, almost...

 In December was aired the short-length "Toy Story That Time Forgot". Not only is the title an homage to Edgar Rice Burroughs and his "People that Time Forgot" (which was adapted as a movie), the short features this character: Goliathon, whose design is furiously familiar:

So, even if Andrew Stanton's name is nowhere to be seen in the Toy Story That Time Forgot credits, it's hard to see a coincidence in it! The added bonus is that this character was made as a toy! So, even in an indirect fashion, it's the only John Carter toy that will be released at Disney...
