The mysteries of inspiration!

I'm currently writing a second novel, which will probably be as short as the first one, but hey, intention is what matters, isn't it? After a great period of time, I was blocked on it for a few weeks long, without exaggerating. I was unable to write another word to finish it, even though I knew perfectly how to end it. Simply, it was an inspiration breakdown. A word here, a word there, without enthusiasm. We get to this night, I woke up at 3:29am for god knows what reason. And suddenly, I knew how to write this ending. Don't ask me... [Lire la suite]

The petition for John Carter 2 has more than 11,500 signers!

http://backtobarsoom.com/2012/12/please-sign-the-john-carter-sequel-petition-to-disney/ 11,510 at this precise moment, +1,960 got from conventions, so 13,470 in all. After the false hope of the beginning of the year (amazing announcement to come, revealed by ERB inc, which said it was not about Tarzan, before acknowledging that it was about Tarzan... the mystery thickens, communication bug or dark scheme behind the scenes?), the mobilization for John Carter 2 is more than ever relevant. You're free to add your... [Lire la suite]

The first John Carter movie in history could have been written by a French!

The ficklepants.com website has published an astounding article, whose link you will find below, about another little-known try at adaptating A Princess of Mars, and with French authors! In 1973, Peter Brown, former manager of the Beatles, buys the European rights for John Carter, and hires to write the script a French, a Roland Arrabal, author of short stories and plays, among those « Sept Péchés », which impressed Brown. Should we be sorry that this adaptation never saw the light of day?... [Lire la suite]

Greenlight for David Yates' Tarzan! Release date July of 2016!

Finally, after months in development, Warner Bros officially greenlit David Yates' Tarzan (his first movie since the last four Harry Potter!). The movie will be released in July of 2016, with Alexander Skarsgard as Tarzan, Margot Robbie as Jane, Samuel L. Jackson in the part of Tarzan's sidekick and Christoph Waltz as the opposition. A 5 Stars Cast, a renowned director, a budget without a doubt substantial, here is a golden opportunity for a Tarzan we didn't heard of on the big screen as a live-action... [Lire la suite]

Synthesis of informations: John Carter 2, is there still hope?

And why not? As its hero, who claims in the face of adversity "I still live!" like a motto, John Carter the movie seems to gain step by step a cult movie status.  - Let's remind that at the time it was released, John Carter had the honor (dubious but real) of being the most pirated movie at this moment! That's right, there's a ranking for that, I was as astonished as you, if you just discvovered it...  - If the American box-office was abysmal, it was not the case in the rest of the world, in particular in two key... Sister Love in January, no news... almost!

Did I miss a sale in December? Anyway Amazon payed me 2 euros (some 2,8$), which bring the profits of Sister Love to an astounding 16,31 euros (23$). The 20$ bar has been passed! No new review, still no movement on Kobo and Lulu, and still no contact for other people to talk about the books online. To be continued, meanwhile I have to finish my second novel, after all I write first and foremost for myself! One of my contacts, a talented artist and writer, Jeff Doten, posted on Facebook a... [Lire la suite]
